And hopefully i can find a decent priced set of tires sometime this week. This thing looks like its riding on golf cart tires right now..

That is what I was saying about the detoursusa.com site. They have a bracket that u weld in. Its like only 45 or something. Worth the 45 to pay rather than the fab and weld time to make ur own.

As good as yours looks custom, his looks good stock. Will be interesting to see the scratches build up on it.

Went to Chris' house last night and grabbed the rims he was trading me.. Went to Discount Tire this morning and had some 33x12.50x15 BFG AT KO's installed and now this thing looks a little closer to how it should look. Next on the list is front and rear bumpers. Till then, heres some more pics!

Gonna need to do a bit of fender trimming, but shouldnt be too much. right now it rubs when i turn sharp.

Havent done anything major with the jeep since my last update here.. Just trimmed the front fenders, lost the rear flares and as of today i pulled out all the carpet and rhino-lined the floor. But after changing out the rear dif fluid at chris' house yesterday we decided to make a little homemade ramp to test out my flex.. Once i get the rear fenders cut and rolled this thing will have a much better flex, but as of now im burying the rear tires in the wells.

Ill post some with and without the ASB attached.

WITH ASB..

Im 5'11" for a size reference..

Its not complete, but still not bad for a jeep that was completely stock under 2 months ago. Saving money for gears now, then ill be finishing her up.

Huge difference in such a short time. Just don't complain anymore about having to wash it. Scares me that you will turn it into a mall crawler.

I was just talking with Chris today about the post you made a while back about how interesting it will be to see the scratches and dents building up on this thing.. When i first bought it there was no scratches or dents and the only blemish in paint on under the rear windshield wiper, but now looking at this thing there are around a dozen dents and some nice scratches down the side. Both from offroading and some douchebag at work who thought throwing rocks at my jeep would be fun.. He will see how fun being pistol whipped is if i catch him messing with it again.

And apparently one of the trees i pushed over last saturday did not appreciate it, so it swung back up and cracked my rear left brake light housing.. So i guess the Jeep and the tree are even?

I can relate to seeing the buildup. Rocker dents from a rock and a tree. A tree getting my right taillight lens. Yeah, it's gonna happen. Having been a street car guy and flipping when something got a scratch, yep, fully get it!

well, you do. you can cut farther but you will need to weld up a new seam in the inner fender.

The work to do that is not that big of a deal. Its the fact that you WILL ruin the paint there and will need to figure something out with that.
