I wish. I would be king . The 2.6 I don't think will be putting out crazy g-force. But it sure beats the leather personnel carriers. cheers

Drove it around block. Got to do something with the exhaust til I can have Smitty go thru it. Had to make bracket to hold the accelerator cable. And the gas pedal rotates (?) sideways. Also the PO had replaced the fusible link to the starter with plain wire. With the starter staying running, I now have a metal rod where that wire was. affraid It was smoldering when I saw it. Oh yeah, and the tires have flat spots. Guess I'll have to look into some 31's or maybe some 33's - shhhhh

Put $20 bucks worth of gas in it. Gas gauge doesn't. Grrrrrrr. Ran thru all the gears, everything seems ok. These 4 cylinder 5 speed transmissions are notorious for wearing out, like the early Rangers. put some flex pipe on the exhaust, It works. Don't know what to think of gas pedal, it's like the wall is flexing. Have to check that out in the daylight. Thermostat, wasn't the issue, just not enough water. Filled it with hose, not by the gallon jug, so didn't gauge it properly. The radio and CB work, and the electric windows work. Passenger side is a bit sluggish, have to look into that.

Drove it to work today, and no problems. Expecting brake or something to be wrong, it had been sitting for a couple of years. Got the new to it hood bedlined (the original hood has a Starsky & Hutch type dent on it), plus got my Off~Camber 4X4 decal on the windscreen. BLING. too late to take pics tonight.

Had my first issue with it today. Took it up to the Ace pick-a-part on Main street and would do more that 65. Figured out the pedal mount was bending. Had to come home and put a screw in the mount plate to keep it from flexing. Will be using the third Raider as a template to make something sturdy to mount the pedal to. I'll need to borrow your welder then Troy. Thanks. Still need to get pics with the OC4X4 sticker on it. Thanks again, Ellis.

Still waiting to see it in the daylight to get pics of the Off~Camber4X4 sticker on the windscreen., The little thing just putts right along, but I'm no fan of the manual choke on the Weber.

Putting a 33x12.50/15 on the spare, have to make a specer so it mounts up!

Big list for the weekend;
1. Spare tire changed over and mounted back up on the door.
2. Air cleaner made up. Adapt stock air cleaner to fit the Weber. I will get to use my big K & N filter then.
3. Take the KYB shocks off the MudRaider and put them on the Shogun.
4. Fix the exhaust clamp.
5. Check the fluid in the front diff.
6. Check and regrease the Auto hubs.

Plus all the stuff to get the bed on the S-10 trailer.

Had the kids helping me. Slowed down progress, but it was fun helping them learn things. First time on the drill press for them. Made a spacer so that the 33X12.50/15 would go on the back door. Had them take off the stock tire off the spare and mount up the 33. Got it bolted on. In between helping them, modified my snorkel air cleaner to be able to mount to the Weber 2BBL. Only got to move the trailer into it's working spot. Sad Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

No frickin clue the exhaust was so loud. With the stock air cleaner on there over the little gauze filter that comes with the Weber, I can now hear very clearly the exhaust exiting from the flex pipe I put on the exhaust. I see a trip to Smitty's after the New Year!

Just cemented a deal to trade some 33's for some 32's. Why go smaller you ask? The little 4 cylinder, 2.6 Hemi Laughing, will be happier pushing the smaller tires, and the 5-spd in these is notorious for exploding under the stress of bigger tires. Ordering the UMWH tomorrow to make the 3" lift blocks for the MudRaider, and will steal the 2" lift blocks from the MudRaider to put in the Shogun.
