Raised Shock mount position
You guys with cherokees will know what I am talking about. On the rear axle the shock mounting position sticks down below the axle. The other day I rasied my mounts up for more ground clearance. We took some Grade 8 bolts and used a lath to cut down the hex head. Then we welded washers in place to hold the shock bushing in place. After that we welded the bolt to the old mount. I still have to cut the bottom off and will have the finished pictures.

Here they are welded.
And now cut. I think I am doing to redo it diff though. This will work for now.

I decided to redo this using the part of the shock mount I cut off. I think it will look better and be stronger.
