the big yellow TJ
I'm Aaron, also know as Budke over on Matanzas. Many of you know me but some of you don't. I used to drive a 92 YJ sahara until I rolled it.
Now I have an 04 TJ, its nice and yellow. You've probably seen me driving around the Orange Park area.
I no longer have those fender flares on the jeep though, so it looks a little different now.
I look forward to doing some wheeling with you guys after I find out why my jeep makes funny noises when in 4wd under stress.

I still got the rims and swampers off the old YJ. 31x12.5x15. You know you want to buy them.

Under load? Ouch! Sounds like a bearing in the obvious choices of front diff or transfer case. Don't know how you would specify it without tearing it down. Maybe looking at the fluids????

Might be front diff spider gears. Already had two broken teeth.MudRaider wrote:Under load? Ouch! Sounds like a bearing in the obvious choices of front diff or transfer case. Don't know how you would specify it without tearing it down. Maybe looking at the fluids????

Not quite yet. I'm leaning toward mellow yellow. Due to my "calm" wheeling style.
Thanks for the welcome guys!

Re: the big yellow TJ
Last time I did something like that I had done a two foot wheelstand in a Volkswagen, The ex has a picture, complete with wrinkled slicks and all. Man I miss that car.
Re: the big yellow TJ
Its been a while since I updated, or even been over here. I know I know, slackin!! lol
But, heres the update
Ford 8.8, 3.73 gears, disc brakes, trac lok LSD.
Was missing a few bolts but have since got them from the JY. Now just need to get new pads and parking brake shoes plus a few other odds and ends.
This is what I will be getting to attach it to the jeep
Artec TJ swap/truss kit
Then, both front and rear will be getting regeared to 4.56. Already have the r&p for the d30.
