jeep being parked

my jeep is going in the garage and being parked for a while. the t case will come out and get rebuit and other things done. before i break it before i can fix it right...lol. the irs is the cause of this they took our refund for taxes for my business. so there will be no wheeling from me for a while. it will be the new beast when it comes back out. its going to be a long time beause i gotta get this damn surgury first. plans are a wheelbase stretch, long arm conversion, 4.5" lift and 33" tires. also plan on running fox airshoc's. this weekend i want to clean out the garage and put the jeep in...

I can rebuild your Transfer case with a chain I have here to get you going. Its not new but it will work rather than slip.

its going to need gears too. and i am going to get the 1.5" chain and gears and try to get a gear reduction also....but thanks anyways.

I have all the gears from here to so they are worn together. Its not worn out but either way figured I would offer so you jeep was not down and out. Good Luck

i guess that is an option...i will get the case out and bring over here soon... and just buy a 4:1 case for when i build it...makes more sence...thanks

Well congrats on the side job work. Extra money on the side is always good.

i think you should just toss the tcase together with frankies parts, that way it will be driveable and wheelable.

and then just save up and start buying parts for the build...and wait until you have everything to start the teardown and build. downtime sucks!

i will be buying another 4x4...this jeep will be getting alot done to it...wheelbase stretch,longarm,tube fenders and a cage, regeared to work with 35's...if i have it in the garage i will acutally work on it..if i still drive it it will take forever to get it done....remember the beast...same deal.

So, I guess we will see it in a few months then.
