brakes sticking and over heating problems

on my way home today i noticed a new shake in the front end of my jeep and the smell of brakes
it also started over heating could this be because the brakes sticking making the motor work harder to go speed limit

Thats what it sounds like. Has it been a while since you got a brake job? I would def inspect the front brakes.

i cleaned everything there was a lot of mud caked on them now they work like they did now the only thing i have left to do to my xj is fix the 4wd and replace my rear yoke so if anyone has one let me know
