i used the roof rails to make side panels to fill the gap between the hatch and roof shell. works pretty dang good. the rear d-pillars were capped also with plate steel. everything with get welded and glassed in.

my hi-lift mount i made. used the spare tire mount and welded supports to the floor.

That is looking good. I always wonder what makes someone cut into a ride like that, but it usually turns out decent and always here about improved performance from the weight savings. I should work on that for me. Razz

i have seriously lost 300+ pounds. the carpet,headliner,interior trim and all sound deadener is gone. and the lack of some metal really helps. it is actually higher in the back now by about 2".

well got it ready for a skim coat of finish bondo and then i can start on the bulkhead then the tailgate.
