I wonder if I could do a swap on a pathy. Like axles and tanny. I'm looking at a 4x4 pathfinder for my wife

it would be more cost effective to just find one 4x4 all ready.

Out of everything id rather have the wagoneer axles because of their strength but I think for now I just want to find a rear axle out of a off road/pro 4 x xterra or nismo fronty so I can replace it with mine and have a rear locker which would make a great difference in my off road capabilities

I have no idea how to find a axles like this but a buddy of mine in south fl did findone. So if anyone has any clues on where I could start looking would be greatly appreciated

thats for a automatic. mines a 6speed manual. and its 3.69 gearing. although i just looked on car part and they only found one full assembly for 2100. for that i can get a arb locker compressor and buy new tires

Or for $2100 you could by a complete 4WDvehicle, have money left over for some mods and keep your Xterra as a nice DD.
