Nov 26th Night ride and campout

That would be cool. I called them once so maybe you guys can get them to change the mind.

Just so yall know one of the old spots in ocala (across from the track) now has a zipline adventure place on it. So no more ridings there.

I hear that. Kinda sucks, it was a fun place to ride.

Not really cause ziplines r fun as wheeling and a big rush.

At the meeting we took a vote and most agreed that we would leave Christmans then ride out to Flagler Estates and camp there and do our night ride..
But after the meeting separated we found out some interesting details that noone mentioned while we were discussing the plans... A. Flagler has a LOT of REALLY nasty mud.. B. The Black Pistons (a charter club for the Florida chapter of the Outlaws) is having a little territorial dispute with another motorcycle club in that area.. (which means we could be stuck right in the middle of gang shootings and all sorts of fun violence. I grew up with a lot of those guys, so if the shit really hit the fan all i would have to do is drop my fathers name and we would be fine, but its still something id rather avoid.. Bullet holes dont buff out.

And if im not mistaken it was said that Flagler has no facilities, so that would leave our female and children squatting in the bushes to do their business.

I just spoke with a few guys that really know Flagler well and addressed some of the issues we had and i believe Flagler would be our best bet for a fun weekend.

Around the entrance there is a large flat area where most park their trailers, this will also work marvelously for our camping spot and allow us to bring the trailers right in with us so we dont have to worry about leaving them at stores or parking lots.

From what ive been told a great deal of the mud is avoidable, so those of us who dont want to get into mud can just go around it, but there are also some mud holes out there that have not been rutted up by huge trucks so we have the option to play in those if we wish.

The issue with the motorcycle club has been squashed, apparently that was months ago.

So the only things i can foresee being a concern is the fact that part of the area has hunters, but that shouldnt be an issue either since we can be heard from a great distance away, and making sure everyone has tow points in front and back. Other than that, bring some TP and bug spray because we got ourselves some primitive camping ahead.

Just got off the phone with a friend of Mikes named Johnny, apparently he goes out to Flagler a lot and he gave me some really good info on the place and where we would find different things.
He is also thinking about riding out there to meet us either saturday night or early sunday. So if we want to go out and do our night ride, then wake up the next day and ride the place with him and his friends we could do that, they can show us everything the spot has to offer.

Im guessing he means B pit in Ocala. Its similar to A pit, lots of rock and hill climbs from what ive heard.

Sounds like total anarchy.

There seems to be a lot of back and forth on what is going on. We need to get this on track and figure out something that is set. We all agree on meeting at Christman and playing there. As for the night ride. Everyone agreed on Flagler. We will try to go there after Christman. If for some reason that does not work out we can then figure out a new path to take. Now, on Sunday if Dirty can get Hardrock for us that would be awesome. Plus, hardrock is a legal ride. If not as a Forum we can not say we are going to B pit b/c it is not a legal spot. If a member decides to go there it is at there own risk.

These are the plan you guys put into place I am just putting them all together. I personally have only been to Flagler one time and found it fun. I know there is a lot of mud. I do not really want to be out mud bogging. When it comes to that place we need someone who has been there and knows where to go to guide the way.

Think we settled this earlier on the phone. Christmans, then flagler for camp out and night ride. Sunday we can either ride flagler or find something else. Friend of Mikes is gonna try to come out, he knows flagler really well.

ok we all talked sunday and said it was going to be flagler. thats it. we will do christman then head to flagler. this is really looking like we are a bunch of dummies. lets not give newbies that impression. we made that decission sunday now lets stick to it.

Sounds good but if Dirty get Hard rock to say ok I think that would be fun. As Far as Sunday I guess its a play it by ear. Sounds like a plan. See you guys Sat morning. I hope my jeep is ok to go by then.

So what time do you guys plan to arrive and leave Christman?
