Anyone have any hotel ideas?
Most of the MJC and SSOR guys are getting rooms at the Hawaiian Inn which is like a block away from the host hotel/center of festivities

You guys have fun with that nightlife. I have to get home and nap before I go to Metropolitan Park and get to see Korn, Five Finger Death Punch and all that. Have volunteered for Saturday morning then I have to get my raffle ticket so I can win a winch. Just sayin !

EVERYONE WILL BE PARTING everwhere thats how it was last year most people retired early cuz early bch sunday but we hit the local spots and stayed out pretty late

Where is the main evening activity? At the beach or around the track? I'm gathering most of Saturday's stuff is at the track, is that correct? That is where they want the volunteers on Saturday I believe. I just don't want to have to pack up and go somewhere else after working it for a couple hours. Is that where the raffles will be held, at the track?

I bounced there from 2000-2002. They never had bands there when I worked there, and it's hard to imagine that dance club playing rock. That had to be awesome seeing them in such a small venue. Jealous. In '96 I got to see Metallica in Isreal while I was stationed in the Middle East. Or '95. Whatever, it was Metallica in a foriegn land in a reasonably small (5,000) venue.

I'm a volunteer for Saturday morning and wondering if anyone else is going down Saturday. Looks like most everyone is headed down Friday, but working Friday so I will catch up with people on Saturday. Will be leaving so I can rest up for "Welcome to Rockville" on Sunday.
