the entire truck only has 20k miles...here is the dash in it
it came from up north and has rust...thats why its apart. to get fixed...it comes with new doors and bed. all i have to get is a fuel tank and pump.

Re: birth of "The Beast"
well being i am having dw problems and other things i have decided to redo it all. i am going to stock up on steel to make control arms...long front and rear. going to get a parttime case for it some better axles and do lots of trimming. the front is going to be wat different. and it might be fenderless and doorless.

What is dw problems?
Re: birth of "The Beast"
Is that a matter of tire balance or suspension pieces? I've heard this and it is general been related to not having tires balanced. Even with worn out suspension pieces, the MudRaider quit it's wobbling after putting the air-soft pellets in the tires.
Re: birth of "The Beast"
Death wobble in a jeep is not just a tire balance issue. It will scare the shit out of you. Its a violent shacking of the steering and wheels. Usually comes from worn suspension. It sounds and feels like ur axle is going to jump right out from under ur jeep. A little tire out of balance would be a cake walk compared to a bad death wobble.

Re: birth of "The Beast"
Death wobble in a jeep has a variety of factors. One of which could be tires. Also suspension, alignment, ball joints, wheel bearings all are contributing factors to check. Start small and easy and go from there. Alignment n balance first because no parts needed then go from there if problem persist. Goodluck with your demon.

Re: birth of "The Beast"
Beats needing an engine, And definitely beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Re: birth of "The Beast"
i know but it just everything going with it. i have the passport tomorrow and i am going to get some shit done and order some parts. i am very much think long arm!!!!!
Re: birth of "The Beast"
Lot of parts involved with that;driveshaft, shocks, brake hose, arms. Do you have to change springs too?
Re: birth of "The Beast"
no its a bolt in kit from rusty's. only other thing i would need would be the drive shafts lengthened.
Re: birth of "The Beast"
That's convenient. Guess how many people make aftermarket arms for the Montero...wait for it...........wait for it..............

If I do that i will convert to leafs all the way around. $$$ < Just hate giving up lockers which I have right now. If I crawled more maybe, but It pretty much goes where I need it.
Re: birth of "The Beast"
it runs again. now i have to reseal the lower part of cab conversion. it is leaking...damn chalk did not dry. so i am just gonna remove it all and glass it in. won't leak then, lol.
Re: birth of "The Beast"
Maybe some seam sealer would work.
