Driving home and the 4 130watt lights on the roof got stuck turned on, don't know why yet, all the wiring is burnt to a crisp!!!! WTF!!! Under hood and cab of Ursala was full of smoke. I was scared shitless and started cutting wires soon as I got to the house. Glad I didn't live any farther away!!!!I'll figure it it out in the morning affraid

Woah.... sounds like maybe a hot line grounded out somewhere. Could have worn through the insulation and rubbed some metal. I hope it didn't do anything the motor or electival system.

I've had that happen because of my old cb. The cb ended up tryin to pull more power than need while it was off which lead to the insulation failing which led to all my wires going up in smoke. Good luck. Check all fuses and connctions

Yeah from the looks of things, the relay shorted and fried everything. No

Upgrade to a bigger relay or maybe multiple relays say like a relay per 2 lights

I'm surprised the fuses on the 30 line of the relays didn't pop. How big were they. Sounds like they were too big!

Yeah that's the funny thing, looks like Ted at aggressive failed to fuse the four lights on the roof therefor when the the relay failed there was no over current protection in place. With a failed relay the lights were stuck on, and I had to go an extra 5 minutes till I got to the house, where my tools were, with an underhood nuclear reactor at critical mass!!

Seems like a simple fix. they need to replace the harness PROPERLY, or face the wrath of some serious bad internet publicity. It's only the right thing to do.

Nah, I think I'll let a licensed electrician do it this time. I probably should of done it myself to begin with. LOL
