The "Passport"
this is my new 4x4. its a 1994 honda passport(isuzu rodeo). it has a d44 rear auto tranny and a 3.2 v6. has the g80 package with includes factory 31's on aluminum 16x8 snowflake wheels, limited slip diffs f/r, tow package and skid plates. i picked up a 85 toyota straight axle for it yesterday to do a sas to the front and soa for the rear.
Re: The "Passport"
if possible gonna need some help today...got to get this axle out of my passport...someone feel like helping me get it out? its just laying in the back of it but its too damn heavy to move myself.
Re: The "Passport"
i am in the parts gathering process now for my sas and soa. i am putting a toyota axle under the front of my passport. picked up axle yesterday....the rest will come as i can get it. the rear soa will be super easy.just a matter of putting the spring pads on top of axle..few other things to but nothing major.i am going high enough for 33's and still have good flex. and it will be leafs f/r for now then at a later date i might do a coil 4link f/r.

I hope so. Dirty's right, did you pop a cover or check the fluid? That looks really rough.
Re: The "Passport"
all i really wanted was the housing...everything else is being replaced with beefier stuff so i really dont care if anything is broke. i will replace the berfields with longfields and do a open knuckle conversion, 4:30 gears and a selecltable locker. a hi steer conversion and all new ball joints and seals and bearings.
Re: The "Passport"
oh on toy axles they are just like a ford 9". they have a 3rd member that everything is in...just unbolt it slide the axles out and pull the center section..buy one built the way you want it and drop it in...VERY easy axle to work on.
Re: The "Passport"
here is some stuff..will add it as i find it...
