Re: ATTN ALL project "BUILT not Bought" 89 xj
so guys ( ehem NICK!!) listen up im really going to need some advise on this one I want to link/relink my suspension 3 link in the front and 4 link in the rear... ive got the most of the research on the mounts and materials etc and i know i can do it ill just need to gather all the materials and plans but im going to need to get the angles and measurements i also want to give it a little more lift but the springs will have alot to do with that right? i will be doing an axle swap as well when i get the axles... but do i upgrade the axles then the suspension? the suspention then axles or get everything and do it all at once? i know getting everything together first is the best but whats second best? and probably going to be a full with upgrade! let me know im itching like an effing crackhead!

Re: ATTN ALL project "BUILT not Bought" 89 xj
do it all at once, especially the rear axle. setting up mounts for a 4 link on the axle side can be pretty time consuming so you really only want to do it once.
the 3 link is a different thing though, since your stock front axle is already setup to accept a 3 link design you could go ahead and build the front suspension first before the axle swap if you really wanted to.
