Re: Project: bordom patrol
i think 33's would be to much of the motor unless i regear it to like 5:88 and i have only found 5:38's for it so far.
Re: Project: bordom patrol
Don't like it too much or you will start having trouble with the CV shafts since its IFS.
But, I do have a d44 front and amc20 rear from a wagoneer I'm trying to get out of my yard.
Imagine those on that thing!

Re: Project: bordom patrol
Nope.
Just the axles.
Got a front drive shaft from my old jeep liberty though with a bad CV joint, and the tie rod from the YJ.
I may be a pack rat for jeep parts......

just converted the abs system to std brakes on my 95. swapping out rear axles to go from 26 spline to 28 spline and bigger rear brakes.
Re: Project: bordom patrol
went out and played a little today...not bad. did really good. took it to jennings and did everything that the other kia did but just a bit better.
Re: Project: bordom patrol

not done yet but i do have a straight axle for front, a lift and a few other things. we are going to be moving soon...to dang far out... so the build will take place after we buy another house...next few weeks...
Re: Project: bordom patrol
the gas tank has been removed. and all the ifs stuff is going away. the rear is staying 3 link the front will be 4 link and maybe coilover...depend on how the tj springs work in the front.
