I got called in for over time again today. I work shift work so I am off a lot. When I get called in for a extra shift I get 12 hrs of overtime. Its nice. This check will have 34 hours of overtime.

OT is great! My wife currently gets no check. She just got a new job she starts in two weeks then two weeks or so for a check. So, a month with only my checks. OT is great like I said!

its been 10 years with only one income at my house.......my wife stays at home with our 4 kids.

Man Chris im sure that sucks. Well with our house and stuff we kinda need her income. We can make it on one but its tight. Plus, the cost of daycare for 4 kids would not make it worth your wife even working.

i only have 1 that satys home the other 3 are in school. still with one in child care would not make it worth my wife working. its sooo expensive.

Switched to night shift last night, but still woke up at 5:45am yesterday as if i was working days.. Been up a little over 27 hours now and i feel like a zombie. BUT, i get to ride up to FedEx in a few and pickup some packages which should make me feel better.

I switch to night shift tonight. Go in at 530 get off at 530. I usually stay up over 24 hours no get much sleep either on my first night shift. I only have 4 nights though then 4 days off and back to days.

Just got home from my first of 4 night shifts. Tired and its time for bed. Good thing I was able to nap for about 45 mins before then next guy came in.

Dang, I remember 28. work all day, play with cars most of the nite, get a couple hours sleep, then do it again. This getting old crap is for the birds.
