cj is the original style jeep made til 1986(round headlights turnsignals below lights). in 87 chrysler introducted the yj square headlights... then came the tj(round headlights turnsignals out on fenders) in 1997. that was followed by the jk...all of these are of the classic jeep style.
the zj was introducted in 1993 and ran til 1998(what i have) then the wj came into play and ran til 2005 or 06 then became something else....these are all grand cherokees
the xj(chris') is the standard cherokee and ran from 82-01 then changed to the kj(liberty). the mj is a pick up based off the xj.
a version of the tj came available just before model end that was stretched(think jeep scrambler) and was called the Lj.

cj, yj = front leaf springs. tj has coils on front? , and I take it jk is the one that has coils all the way around? and comes in 2 and 4 door? MJ = Comanche, I want one of those. Uni-body like a Cherokee? How's that work with a bed??? Just thought about that. Full size Grand Cherokees, that is where the 6 lug axles come from, Correct?

So the MJ Comanchee is coil all the way around. Capacity can't be all that. Might have to rethink this.

Would it be a good tow vehicle for that trailer of mine? I think I would be wiser finding a 2WD one just so I don't end up getting crazy with it.
